2. Exhibits must be in place by 9:00 P.M., Thursday September 20, 2012.

3. Exhibits are to remain in place until closing, Sunday, September 23, 2012.

The tent will close at 6 P.M. and exhibits will be available after 7:00 P.M.

4. Exhibits must all be raised by the exhibitor.

5. CORRECT QUANTITY MUST BE ON EACH EXHIBIT

6. Only one entry may be made of the same variety by an exhibitor.

47. Society offers for best commercial Farm Exhibit to consist of 15 or more specimens of any farm ­product, by one person, to be judged on total number of different specimens, and quality of the same. Use of props is encouraged.

48. Society offers awards for best Vegetable Exhibit to consist of 10 or more varieties, by one person, to be judged on total number of different specimens and quality of same.

49. Society offers awards for best Herb Exhibit to consist of 10 or more varieties, by one ­person, to be judged on total number of different specimens and quality of same.

50. Best Vegatable Basket by non-profit or community garden. 10 or more varieties in a basket.

51. Best Farm Exhibit: to consist of 15 or more specimens of any farm ­product, by a non-profit or community garden group to be judged on total number of different specimens, and quality of the same. Use of props is encouraged.

52. Best Vegetable Basket – 5 or more varieties in a basket – $50.00 plus Award.

 

Judging in classes 47, 48, 49, 51 and 52 will be done on a point system.

EXHIBITS

53. Society offers awards for best Youth Organization exhibit depicting Agriculture to include historical information in the form of charts, poster, etc., regarding the history of agriculture. To be judged on quality of specimens and creativity and presentation of exhibit.

Display to cover 4×6 feet of space, including wall space.

Competition open to school classes, scout troops, 4-H clubs or other organized youth groups, grades K-12.

Each worthy exhibit in this class not receiving a prize to be paid $5.00. The above exhibits to be judged on the number of kinds of vegetables, and the appearance of the display according to the following score card:
