ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ONLY IN CLASSES LISTED
An exhibitor may enter only one entry per class.
All flowers & foliage must be grown by the exhibitor unless otherwise stated
Entries close at 5:00 P.M., Saturday, September 15, 2012 Exhibits will be accepted ONLY between 4:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 20. All exhibits must remain in place until closing Sunday, September 23, 2012. The tent will close at 6:00 P.M. and exhibits will be available after 7:00 P.M.
Pleasebe mindful of our limited display space when designing large arrangements, use non-tippy containers and always design your exhibits to stay fresh through Sunday.
ARTISTIC ARRANGEMENTS – Adult
Judged on condition of flowers & foliage, artistic interpretation of theme, and originality.
Accessories may be used to enhance the theme, but should not overwhelm arrangement.
First- $6.00, Second- $5.00, Third- $4.00
Trophy awarded for Best of Show
Class
1. “Theme arrangement – “A Night at the Movies” Enjoy yourself! Bought flowers may be used.
Trophy awarded for first place.
2. “ET” – A futuristic arrangement using all green..
3. “Marilyn Monroe” – Make a gorgeous all white arrangement
4. “Bond, James Bond” – A black, white and red arrangement using fresh and/or dried materials.
Dried material may be colored.
5. “My Favorite Movie” – Make it a blockbuster.
6. “True Grit” – An arrangement with a western theme.
Judged on condition of flowers &?foliage and artistic presentation of collection.
A collection is to be comprised of four single (one-stem) specimens,
each a different variety. Each specimen is to be presented in its own container and labeled clearly.
First- $6.00, Second- $4.00, Third- $3.00
Class 7. Dahlias Class 8. Perennials
Each exhibitor may enter two potted plants. Pots not to exceed 6”.
Judged on condition of plant and difficulty of cultivation.
First- $3.00, Second- $2.00, Third- $1.00
Class 9. Potted Plant
Classes 10 through 27 are judged on condition of flowers & foliage, suitability of container and visual appeal.
Please feel free to enter as many classes as you think you may be able to enter.
No penalty if your flowers don’t make it.
Please include at least 5 flowers
Foliage must belong to the flowers in the entry.
An entry may include a mix of colors, but NOT a mix of varieties.
Keep in mind that this should be an Artisitic Arrangement
Judged on condition of flowers & foliage, suitability of container, and visual appeal.
