Welcome to The Guilford Fair, Connecticut’s 2nd oldest agricultural fair.
Established in 1859, the Fair is held each year during the third weekend in September, on the Fairgrounds in historic Guilford, Conn.

The cancellation of this year’s Fair and other events on the Fairgrounds has left the Agricultural Society with a significant operating deficit.
We are now 60% to our fundraising goal, and are turning to our many “Friends of the Fair” — folks like you — to help us get all the way to $50,000!

Due to the uncertainty created by the Covid-19 virus in our community, and with the health and well-being of our more than 20,000 patrons, volunteers, exhibitors and vendors being our primary concern — and after much discussion and thought and hope – the Board of Directors of the Guilford Agricultural Society decided to cancel this year’s Guilford Fair, scheduled for September 18, 19 & 20,  2020. We regret having to take this course of action, but wanted to err on the side of caution. We would like to thank all of our volunteers, members, directors, our many exhibitors, our amusement company and the community for all their hard work preparing for this year’s Fair.

Stay safe… stay well… We look forward to seeing you in 2021 with a bigger, stronger and very special Fair.
