The Guilford Agricultural Society (“we” or “us”) look forward to welcoming you back to the Guilford Fair (the “Fair”). The Fair values the participation of our community and wants you to have an enjoyable experience. COVID Protocols

While most events are outside, there are activities and exhibits held in enclosed or partially enclosed spaces.

By attending the Fair, you affirm that you will comply with all CDC, federal, state, and local laws, orders, directives, and guidelines related to COVID and related health concerns and attending a large gathering.

You affirm that you have read and will comply with CDC guidance related to hand sanitation, social distancing, and use of face coverings – if required – for your vaccination status.

You agree that you will not participate if you tested positive for COVID, are experiencing symptoms of COVID, or have been in close contact with some who has COVID.

You understand that photos and recordings may capture images and audio at the Fair and by attending, you consent to the Fair’s use of any image or recording for publicity purposes or for posting to the Fair’s website or social media accounts. We shall have the right to copyright, publish or use any photographs, videotapes and/or sound recordings now or in the future. You waive all claims for any compensation for such use or for damages and waive any right that you may have to inspect and/or approve the finished product or the use to which it may applied.

Limitation of Liability

We and our representatives, including the Board of Directors, will not be held liable to you under any theory of liability or cause of action or for any special, consequential, indirect, incidental, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, opportunities and/or customers. This limitation is applicable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

If the Fair is prevented from hosting the event or carrying out its obligations as a result of any cause beyond its control, such as but not limited to an act of God, war, natural disaster, a public health epidemic and/or pandemic, acts or threats of terrorism, civil disturbance, action by governmental entity, strikes, lock-outs, curtailments of transportation services or facilities, the failure of any third party to deliver goods or services for the Fair’s events, or any other situation that makes it impossible, illegal or commercially unfeasible for the Fair to hold events, the Fair reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Fair’s events, and shall be relieved of its obligations and liabilities in connection therewith.

By attending the Fair, you are confirming that you have read this Notice and you represent, warrant, acknowledge, agree to be bound herein.
